Penna Powers Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant is a mature, deadline-driven, highly-organized, and detail-oriented and will report to the Agency’s Executive Management team. This is a full-time position. The Administrative Assistant must be able to work with multiple managers and effectively prioritize and handle requests including scheduling, drafting and preparing correspondence, answering phones and other general clerical responsibilities.

Specific tasks and responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments
  • Prepare meeting agendas, organize and compile information and materials
  • Record, compile and distribute meeting notes
  • Drafting and preparing correspondence, memos and reports
  • Internet research
  • Maintain calendar(s)
  • Proofreading proposals and other documents
  • General clerical duties including maintaining soft and hardcopy files, photocopying, mailing
  • Occasionally ordering meals and coordinating refreshments for meetings

Skills & Experience Required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including spelling and grammar)
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and requests
  • Understanding of meeting management: agendas, protocol, collateral material, etc.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, creating reports and other office procedures
  • Organization and follow-up skills – a demonstrated ability to make and meet commitments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to coordinate tasks and deadlines with other departments
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Internet technologies
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced knowledge of Windows, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint (or Keynote) and Outlook

Penna Powers, a Salt Lake based communications agency, is seeking a talented Videographer/Editor for its Salt Lake City office. The Videographer/Editor will assist the agency in the development, editing and support of all multimedia projects including videos and presentations. Knowledge of current editing and shooting styles as well as excellent time-management and multitasking skills are key characteristics we are looking for.


  • Manage multiple video/multimedia projects
  • Participate in team meetings, develop video concepts and storyboard ideas
  • Shoot and edit video projects
  • Ability to capture and edit audio (knowledge of audio equipment such as LAV, Shotgun mic, omnidirectional, etc.)
  • Produce motion/kinetic videos
  • Keep up with trending techniques in video production, color process and editing 
  • Work to develop and maintain post-production processes and guidelines (Broadcast/YouTube/Vimeo/etc.)


  • Understanding of lighting, shooting angles, camera placement, audio needs, locations, camera movement, etc.
  • Proficient in Premiere, After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, Sound Booth, Audition)
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use music/graphics to add energy and excitement to video content
  • Knowledge of video codecs, compositing, transcoding, and video formatting across channels
  • Have excellent communications and interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with culturally diverse people
  • Must be proactive who can collaborate within a team
  • Must be a creative thinker and problem solver
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize duties, track assets and meet deadlines is critical

Media Planner

We’re looking for someone who has between 1 and 3 years of experience in media planning, research and buying. Ideal candidates will be able to integrate planning from all media channels and articulate media strategy to colleagues, supervisors and clients.

Of course that’s not all – here’s a list of qualifications and duties that go along with the position:

  • Responsible for developing, implementing and optimizing traditional and online client strategies and initiatives
  • Can work cross-department to integrate PR, SEO and other interactive elements not traditionally part of a paid media buy
  • Develops buying strategies for maximizing media dollars and handles RFPs and negotiations
  • Once campaigns are live, optimizes performance based on agreed-upon key performance indicators
  • Creates online campaign reports for client and performs post-analysis verification on all buys to assess vendor compliance
  • Has a thorough understanding of CPM, CPC, CPA, and PPC-based advertising campaigns
  • Can manage paid search campaigns and stays updated on latest tools and trends.
  • Writes online media recommendations and POVs across a wide array of opportunities
  • Creates and manages media flowcharts, client media authorizations, billing and media vendor contacts
  • Constantly learning industry trends and staying updated on new technologies
  • Understands and interprets media research/math analytics and consumer trends
  • Has supervisory role over assistants, coordinators and interns
  • Collaborate with senior media staff on strategic development, analysis and optimization
  • Experience with Double Click ad serving and reporting a plus
  • Familiarity with Nevada media also a plus
  • Bachelor Degree and 1 to 3 years of Advertising Agency experience preferred
