As 2011 draws to a close, this blogger wishes to take a journey down memory lane. The following will involve the serious, the PPBH-pertinent and the utterly ridiculous. Will you join me?

Without further ado, here is the year in review…

Kim Kardashian posts about Kris Humphries for the first time. Um, we all know how that ended.

Two Utahns make the finals for the Doritos “Crash the Super Bowl” ad contest. And one of them walks away with the $1 million prize. Not too shabby.

As part of the team on the I-15 CORE project, PPBH participates in the “Super Bowl of bridge moves.” It was a magical, if not chilly, evening.

An estimated 2 billion people tune in to watch the marriage of Prince William and Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey. Too bad they didn’t sell any ad space.

PPBH keeps a “hairy upper lip” whilst celebrating Mustache May. “Pin the Mustache on the Partner” anyone?

UDOT encourages children to “Think Safety” around construction zones. Especially during the summer months.

Febreeze disgusts its way to the top of the most memorable new ads of July. View the top ten here.

There’s only one, one, one, one, onnnnnnnne Lagoon! Best. Day. Ever.

NBA lockout anyone? No? How about this?

RIP Steve Jobs. Plus, Sprint pays handsomely for rights to the iPhone 5.

We came. We saw. We smoothied. And maybe we bowled a little bit too.

Advertising Age names its Top 10 Viral Campaigns of 2011 (may the force be with you) and Top 10 Twitter Trends of 2011 (I guess everyone really does have that Bieber Fever). And PPBH presents its own 2011 picks, in tv, music, movies and books.

I think if I were to sum up this year in one word, it would be this: winning.

Happy New Year, everyone!
